Heucherella are a hybrid of Heuchera and Tiarella that make for deeply lobed foliage with unusual veins and colors as well as better heat tolerance for the South. Evergreen foliage is vibrant in the shade garden as Heucherella are a great addition to the front of the border or in combination planters. 'Cracked Ice' is a variety that has frosty blue and green leaves with striking dark veins and spires of white flowers in the spring. Photo courtesy of Terra Nova Nurseries.
