Salvia nemorosa

‘Dark Matter™’
Salvia nemorosa 'Dark Matter™' is a striking addition to any style garden. Dark purple-blue flowers start in the spring and bloom repeatedly through the summer into fall. This variety has strong radial branching and produces lots of flowers with an upright habit. First year flowering without vernalization. Deer and rabbit resistant. A great hummingbird, butterfly and pollinator bee attractor. Makes good cut flowers and great container plantings for the patio. Drought tolerant once established and looks great in the border of the garden whether it is a cottage, Mediterranean, prairie style or anything in between.
