The Royal Hawaiian® series from Plant Haven has many striking varieties of elephant ear's that are selected for their bold leaf colors and sturdy stems. They are great in containers or in the garden in the South. Cooler climates will need to lift and store the bulbs for the winter. Colocasia create a tropical effect for any garden with their dramatic leaves that does well in sun or part shade. Colocasia prefer well drained moist soils but not soggy conditions. Deer and rabbit resistant. 'Diamond Head' is a selection that has large dark purple to chocolate foliage with a glossy finish.
