Gaillardia

Barbican™ Series ‘Red’
The Barbican™ series from Syngenta has a mounded habit and is extremely floriferous from spring through summer. Gaillardia is found in many types of gardens from rock gardens to cottage gardens and can be used in coastal areas as it is quite salt tolerant too. Drought tolerant once established as well as deer and rabbit resistant. Attracts butterflies, hummingbirds and pollinator bees. Makes great cut flowers. 'Red' has large ray flowers that are deep red in color. Let the seed heads form in late summer for the gold finches and other birds to find.
