Echinacea Panama™ series is the first URC grown Echinacea on the market. From the breeder Danziger, Panama™ 'Red' has a long bloom time from summer to fall and has a deep red flower. Echinacea is a native plant that is known for its medicinal purposes but is also fantastic in all kinds of gardens, rock gardens, prairie gardens and cottage gardens as well as containers in the full sun. Coneflowers have a long bloom period, and the large, dried seed heads are a great food source for finches and other birds in the late summer and fall. A great attractor of butterflies, hummingbirds and pollinator bees. Makes good cut flowers.
