Hosta Virus X (HVX) update

As of April 6, 2009 the USDA has begun testing all imported Hostas at the port of entry into the U.S. for HVX antibodies. Currently, the USDA will tolerate up to 5% infestation and still allow plants to enter the U.S.

James Greenhouses still has a zero tolerance policy. Isn't that one of the reasons you buy tissue culture Hostas anyway?
